- Our school participated in the District Level Badminton and Table Tennis tournaments organized by Rotary club at S.D. Govt. Sr. Sec. school on 13th and 14th July 2012 and qualified to represent the school at state level tournament.

- An intra Section Hindi Calligraphy competition was held on 13th July for class III - V and.
|
- Our school participated in Inter DPS Zonal Quiz held at DPS Greater Noida on 14th July 2012.

- An Inter House Table Tennis match was organized for classes VI - X on 18th July 2012 and Nilgiri House bagged the 1st position.

- An inter House cricket match was organised for classes XI - XII on 20th July 2012. Vindhyachal House and Nilgiri House were the joint winners.

- An inter house english debate for classes IX & X was held on 3rd Aug’12. the topic for the debate was “Morality is moral only when voluntary”.

- Our school has participated in the Inter DPS Basket Ball Tournament organized by the DPS Society for the DPS Schools falling in North Zone II. The tournament was held from 28th – 31st Aug’12 at DPS Faridabad.

- An Electrical Safety Seminar was organized by the Estate Department of Panipat Refinery for the students.

- Our school participated in the Inter DPS Dance Festival held at DPS Palwal on 29th Aug’12.

The Central Board of Secondary Education organized a “Training Workshop on Formative Assessment” on 28th Aug’12 at our school. 32 CBSE affiliated schools of Haryana and Delhi participated in the workshop and the total number of participating teachers was 141. The training programme was conducted by the two CBSE nominated resource persons; Dr. Rakesh Sachdeva, Principal, DAV Model School, Chandigarh and Dr. Deepa Dogra, Principal, Cambridge International School, Jalandhar.
